jinkies-a-clue:

I came across this in my West Coast Avengers: Darker Than Scarlet TPB.  It’s from issue # 56.  I skipped over the scans were The (original) Human Torch’s origin was laid out again - and then it’s like BAM Bad News Bearing Iron Man ;).  I can’t explain why I find this funny - I just do.

Things I love about this?

Sersi flirting with the nervous Steve (as always).

Steve happily picking up Jim and being all giddy that he’s back (and kind of forgetting about Sersi lol).

Dammit Iron Man why do you have to be such a party pooper with your sad faceplate!

Jarvis what are you…
All my love for Sersi the most human of the Eternals. I just loved her lovely, carefree, joyful, and exuberant personality. I love reading stories with Sersi (especially Neil Gaiman’s The Eternals, I loved that)
And I thought it was cute how she crushed on Steve and made him squirm and all nervous, but that’s what he gets for accidentally traveling to the Mesopotamia era, saving Gilgamesh and giving the thousand(s?) year old little girl a crush on him.

Poor Steve, why did Mr. and Mrs. Rogers made you so damn attractive?
