Sorry, looking way too radically different to Hickman’s setup for the FF already for my liking. Where’s Val? Franklin? Bentley? The rest of the class?

I don’t mean to sound overly negative but this has just reenforced my desire to drop this when Hickman leaves. I needed to make space for Hickman’s Avengers anyway so it makes sense to drop 2 books (FF and Fantastic Four) to pick up 2 books (Avengers and New Avengers).

Val, Frankin, Bentley et al are going back to the F4 title.

Read Newsarama’s Fraction’s Fantastic Four article it is actually pretty interesting.

Yes, I know it’s Matt Fraction but the fact that he wants to make F4 really family oriented and more like the Incredibles and something people from All-ages can enjoy kind of has me intrigued on what he’s going to do there.

I dunno how FF will turn out but Mike Allred is there, it has a retro feeling to it and that lineup seems really cool (also a team with three girls and one guy, yes! I want to check this out).

I will miss Hickman in those titles though (but I am more optimistic about this after having read Fraction’s thoughts on what he’s going to do with F4 and FF).
