- Disney is pumping capital back into the video game industry by buying the rights of beloved characters to have them appear in it, even for half a second. The cameos in that train station scene alone may number in the hundreds, and that is phenomenal.
- It will reinvigorate a lot of interest in the arcade business, which has been dying over the last decade. Personally, that’s my ticket paid for. I spent half of my life’s weekends in arcades, and just as many allowances in quarters having the time of my life with the games there.
- Wreck-It Ralph is the Who Framed Roger Rabbit of this generation. People who grew up loving the characters that will appear in this film will probably enjoy it for years to come, if not longer than that.
So yeah, I’m hyped as shit, and I think everyone else should be, too.
The gamer in me is so hyped for this movie.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to call it the Who Framed Roger Rabbit of this generation, but I’ll give it a close second....
The gamer in me is so hyped for this movie.
Also we might finally get that Cyborg Justice sequel I’ve been wanting for nearly twenty years.
I’ve never been much of one for arcades, as a) they jsut aren’t really around anymore it seems??? at least not around...
