I managed to find a perfect jacket for my Black Canary cosplay for Girl Geek Con! I’d sourced pretty much everything else, but this was the crucial component, and I didn’t want to buy a ton of stuff and be left without a complete costume.

I looked all over online and was losing hope, but then today on a lark I decided to check Dress Barn — and there it was! (For 30% off, no less!) So then I went on a shopping spree. The results:

I even found little gold-colored earrings so I can have my Birds of Prey communicator thing going. There’s only one problem:

I can’t find my black boots!

My comic-panels boots are awesome, but not quite character-accurate.

My cat agrees that I look silly.

Oracle, come in! We have to find my bitch boots before August!!!
