Again this is very “Ultimates”. Unless Steve was in uniform (where he actually did wear an epic trenchcoat over the costume occasionally), he wore shirts and smart trousers. He’s a 40’s man people!

Lol yes I think everyone gets that we are just poking fun :P

But still I can’t stop thinking about my Grandpas, hell my dad also kind of dresses like this too (it just makes it interesting and creepy at the same time).

And Steve mostly always wore the epic trenchcoat coat in the 60’s comic, even out of costume and I actually wouldn’t mind him doing it in the movies.

Meh the Avengers movie only takes a little bit from the Ultimates, aside from Fury, Hawkeye and the whole Avengers and SHIELD thing everything else is more based on 616.

If I am not mistaken Tony mentions to Bucky that Jan always wanted to give Steve a makeover (but then again she wanted to give everyone a make over).

But yeah Jan is the fashion police, she would be at Steve 24/7 and terrorize him XD

..is it wrong that I pefer Clint Eastwood and Steve up there to ‘fashionable’ Chris Evans down below?

My dad and my Grandpas wore those type of shirts and their pants that way which is why I am getting major reminders when I see this and I can’t find Steve as sexy if I keep thinking about them (which takes a bit from the sexyness a little bit).

The bomber jacket saves it though, I fucking love bomber jackets, and it makes so much sense for Steve to wear one since he is a motorcyclist.

Ultimately I like Steve in 40’s and modern fashionable clothing, I guess I really don’t care what he wears, but I still have major preference for when he wore trenchcoats and the occasional fedora in his comics. Mainly because I found that to be extremely awesome and I have tremendous love for that type of clothing.

Also Steve had a love of pulp radios and masked detectives, his favorite was the Midnight Racer, which would be cool if they bring over to his personality in the movies (Maybe Captain america 2).
