and then I rethink that idea

because seriously everything bad happens in New York - angry gods, nasty aliens, natural disasters, transformers who want to destroy all humans, even zombies. NYC is always the first to go.

If you’re in the Marvel Universe then yes, you want to avoid New York at all costs. Maybe California from time to time too but yeah mostly New York.

If you’re in the DC Universe you are fucked wherever you go, but definitely avoid Gotham, Metropolis, Hub City and Bludhaven (ESPECIALLY BLUDHAVEN!).
